Tonight we are hosting the National Launch of the book of charlie by David Von Drehle. [applause] the book of charlie is a special book about a special man and it was written by a special mann and i know and i can tell you why David Von Drehle was drawn to charlie because he has a younger charlie and i hope he lives to be 109. [applause] i found a 48 years ago and over that time i have found a few books that represent what i call high water marks in our love of reading and the book of charlie is such a book. It is a book for everyone and i hope that everyone reads it. I agree with tom hanks who gave us this wonderful quote ive got to recommend this book filled with history, wisdom, common sense and loss galore.
