your weekend with us. we appreciate your insight. let s start with the basics. why does pollen make my head hurt? well, thanks for having me here. the reason why pollen makes your head hurt is because you are allergic to the pollen. and so what happens is when you breathe in that pollen, your body reacts to it. and that causes for example your nose tissues to swell making your nose get congested, maybe making your sinuses start to hurt and that is why your head hurts. or maybe your nose runs or you sneeze. i guess the hard part for some folks is determining what is allergies versus what is potentially something else, a cold or any of a number of ailments. yeah, it is hard to discern those things. what we usually tell people, if you are allergic to something, you will have symptoms every year during that season. and as you mention, the seasons
