States along the path of the River Benue in Nigeria have begun preparing for potential flood disasters in their varied domains as a result of the release of enormous volumes of water from the Lagdo Dam in Cameroon.

Flooding has become a recurring problem in certain areas, and the NSE believes that constructing additional dams can provide effective solutions to mitigate the impact of floods.
