In a year where the Newton city tax rate dropped by nine cents, several candidates for office have criticized the city council for raising the taxes of the city’s residents.
Two of the three candidates running for mayor of Newton made their cases and shared views on topics ranging from economic development to the future of the Soldiers Reunion at
