NTPC: The company achieved a coal production of 16.05 million metric tonnes (MMT) during H1 FY24, as compared to 8.76 MMT in H1 FY23 (April-September 2022).

State-run power company NTPC has reported an 83% increase in coal production in the April-September period of this financial year compared to the same period last year. The company achieved a coal production of 16.05 million metric tonnes during this period, compared to 8.76 million metric tonnes in the previous year.

The Indian government is working on finalizing procedures to pool tariffs of renewable energy capacities, aiming to make electricity tariffs uniform for power distribution companies.
