Alcee Chriss III to Present Organ Recital at St Stephen s on Sunday

Written by Linda Berry Immediately upon the conclusion of this Sunday’s 5 p.m. Choral Evensong at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Alcee Chriss III, minister of music and one of the leading young organists of our time, will present a brief recital. The Evensong service and organ performance, which will be live streamed, will also welcome in-person attendance. For in-person attendance, please register on Eventbrite here . Choral Evensong, a service of prayers and music, is a staple of the Episcopal Church’s Anglican heritage. The event on May 23, Pentecost Sunday, will celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit.
