Israel s national coronavirus vaccination campaign was expanding Sunday as hospitals were authorized to vaccinate non-staff citizens, including Israelis aged 60 and over and rescue services workers.
The expansion of the operation to the hospitals is intended to alleviate the heavy workload burdening some of the health maintenance operations (HMOs) vaccination centers.

Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan, Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv and Wolfson Medical Center in Holon will take part in the operation.
