EAST BRIDGEWATER Thomas Barrett remembers his late wife, Kim, as perseverant, determined and selfless.
A mother of three who spent nearly 30 years in the nursing field, she was as committed to her family as she was to her patients, Barrett said. When she passed away in late December, after a long battle with breast cancer, he wanted to do something that would honor her life and work.
“Kim was one of the most dedicated, loyal people that I’ve ever met,” Barrett said of his wife of 31 years. “She found meaning and purpose in caring for others, and that was really her passion.”
