The ruling BJP continues to have a majority in the Karnataka Legislative Council, as the party managed to win one teachers' and graduates' constituency each in the recently held biennial elections, while the Congress too managed to win one each.

Uniindia: Bengaluru, June 15 (UNI) The BJP is waiting with bated breath for the result of the Karnataka Legislative Council biennial election to the graduates and teachers constituencies as the counting is underway here on Wednesday.
Karnataka MLC polls: The ruling BJP and the principal opposition Congress fielded one candidate each in all the four constituencies: North-West Graduates', South Graduates', North-West Teachers, and West Teachers'.
