The block-cave method proposed by Resolution Copper, the British-Australian mining company owned by Rio Tinto and BHP that has rights to the land, would destroy Oak Flat.

The Flat Fire is hosting an in-person Community Meeting in Agness on Friday, August 4 at the Agness Community Library Day Park. The meeting will be held at 2 p.m.
