HERE S EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW: â Sunshine Coast region received more than 200mm of rain over the past three days and wind gusts reached up to 90 km/h. â Maleny recorded one of the highest rainfalls in the past 24 hours, reaching 211mm. â Northern Bribie Island overtopped during the deluge and council crews are monitoring the situation closely. â A strong wind warning was issued for Sunshine Coast waters and Moreton Bay and a flood warning was issued for Noosa River and other Sunshine Coast rivers and creeks.
