Organizers of the 2024 Greeley Stampede, set for June 26 through July 7, are seeking commercial and food vendors that can add to the experience of the more than 220,000 people that attend the annual event.

As ambassadors of the sport, rodeo queens are required to know the ins and outs of each event as well as be able to handle a horse on their own inside the ring.

Organizers of the 2023 Larimer County Fair and PRCA Rodeo kickoff parade said they were extremely happy with Saturday’s turnout from the community in an email announcing the parade winners.

The week of Independence Day is known in the rodeo world as “Cowboy Christmas” since there are more financially enticing rodeos that take place on or near July 4 that competitors can choose from. As cowboys and cowgirls make their way from rodeo to rodeo during the week, athletes participating in day three of the PRCA ProRodeo at the Greeley Stampede received some nice gifts.

While rodeo athletes and stock contractors are busy racking up points to help propel them to the annual National Finals Rodeo in December in Las Vegas, the next generation of cowboys and cowgirls gathered at the Stampede Arena to take part in the Greeley Stampede Junior Rodeo.
