Punjab Weather Update Latest News: As the winter season begins to settle in, many states in Northern India, including Punjab, are experiencing a sudden drop in temperatures, forcing residents to don warm clothing. Simultaneously, the Meteorological Department has issued heavy rain alerts for several states, including Kerala and Karnataka. In contrast, Delhi-NCR continues to grapple with poor air quality.

Cold wave: A shivering cold coupled with dense fog pummelled the country, disrupting daily activities and communications by roads, rivers and air and spreading winter-related diseases.

A mild cold wave is sweeping across Rajshahi, Pabna, Dinajpur, Panchagarh, Nilphamari, Jashore, Chuadanga and Kushtia districts and it may continue, Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said this morning.
