The state government on Friday waived off the rent of Odisha Bhawan, Mumbai, which is being used as a quarantine facility for doctors and other healthcare workers by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation since April last year. “The Odisha government has waived off rent of more than Rs 2 crore showing solidarity towards the people of Mumbai in view of the Covid-19 pandemic,” a statement issued by the chief minister’s office said.
