Residents of the Northside neighborhood of Kalamazoo are fighting the global paper manufacturing company Graphic Packaging International and the local, state and federal government to stop the poisoning of their community with toxic hydrogen sulfide gas.

Community members in Kalamazoo voiced frustrations at a meeting hosted by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services on Thursday.

Thursday night, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services held a town hall in Kalamazoo, discussing the results of an investigation into an unpleasant odor in parts of the city.
