Nine animation programs highlight techniques, themes, and the divergence of the country’s multi-faceted culture, with selections highlighting the beginnings of Mexican animation, its indigenous people’s influences on the art form, the emergence of Mexican television content and the untold stories of the country’s structural violence.

Annecy International Animation Film Festival is one of the four international animated film festivals sponsored by the International Animated Film Association. The festival gives its support to the creation of animated films, through its Call for Projects. The goal of the forum is to choose the best projects of the year and help them to become films.
