At the University of Oregon in Eugene today, more than a thousand abortion-rights activists gathered to denounce the expected reversal of Roe vs. Wade, nearly two weeks after a leaked memo suggested the U.S. Supreme Court would do so.

In the Washington DC, thousands gathered at the Washington Monument before marching to the Supreme Court, which is now surrounded by two layers of security fences.

There were large gatherings in New York, Washington, Los Angeles and Chicago with some smaller counter-protests.
