Here are five possible candidates to replace Liam Coen as UK offensive coordinator.

The Pittsburgh Steelers hired former Atlanta Falcons head coach Arthur Smith as offensive coordinator on Friday, hoping he can help a unit that's underachieved in recent years. The 41-year-old Smith was fired last month following a third straight 7-10 season in Atlanta. Smith replaces Matt Canada, who was dismissed just before Thanksgiving with the Steelers offense languishing near the bottom of the league in points and yards.

It appears Kentucky OC Liam Coen is still considering other job options.

Carolina’s new head coach Dave Canales — as well as general manager Dan Morgan — held an introductory news conference Thursday morning at Bank of America Stadium.

The Washington Commanders have an agreement with Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn to hire him as coach, according to two people with knowledge of the decision. Washington was the final NFL team to fill its head-coaching vacancy. Quinn, 53, spent the past three seasons running the defense for the NFC East-rival Cowboys after five-plus seasons coaching the Atlanta Falcons.

Patrick Mahomes remembers what Matt Nagy was like when he first arrived in Kansas City in 2017, just a fresh-faced rookie quarterback whose stardom was still very much in the future. Nagy was the Chiefs' offensive coordinator at the time, and they spent countless hours together in meetings, practices and even on planes traveling to games. Nagy left after that season for Chicago, where he spent four years as the Bears' head coach.
