It is truly unfortunate that in a league that is overwhelmingly Black that few are willing to publicly articulate the fact that the path to an increase in Black head coaches was problematized with this alteration and more than likely will never be paved over until there are a substantial number of Black owners in the league.

So youre talking about a massive racial divide in the sport, but its more than just franchise owners and players. if you look at the ranks of executives and coaches, even if you look at the ranks of offensive coordinators, what are the so-called thinking positions in the sport, thats how they refer to them, those are almost exclusively lily white, and this is a racial contradiction and its also a powder keg in the sport. and this is why they had to deal with gruden so quickly, because they dont ...
