Mismatch between the number of jobs that are being created and the housing particularly Affordable Housing thats needed to meet that demand. We are also helping here to meet a need that ive heard again and again from the Mayors Office of housing one of the meetings i had early on was to go through the pipeline of Housing Project Affordable Housing projects in my district. We are going to bring in buck devanthal. Do we need two audits or one audit . This is a really important piece of legislation. It was a two minute conversation. We explained everything to buck, he looked at the deputy City Attorney and said i think one audit is enough, due process will be served. It changed the entire dynamic of the legislation. Praying always that there should be an implementation for this. Thank you. And congratulations to all of us. Thank you for your testimony. Next speaker, please. Mr. Peterson. Thank you. Good evening supervisors. My name is christopher peterson. I strongly support finding new sources of revenue to fund Affordable Housing. Sounds like a substantial increase and this fee is appropriate. Im agnostic about what the exact amount should be. But i do think theres one factor that i havent heard discussed...

One of several housing bills approved by the state Legislature Earlier this month. This bill, sponsored by senators , mandates many elements in the planning process and forces by right approval for many projects. It has been amended many times. I have given up on trying to read it, and understand it. Your work here looks like, you know, planning for dummies, so clear, so understandable when compared to the state legislature and the bills. It is unbelievable. I am asking you to help us understand...
