CHESHIRE â Local organizations are often the backbone of a community, offering aid to neighbors and help to different causes.
As the state continues to grapple with the COVID-19 pandemic, a few groups recently joined forces to help those struggling with basic needs during the holiday season.
Last week, local police partnered with the Bozzutoâs Hometown Foundation and the Because of the Brave group to donate over 1,000 pounds of food to the Cheshire Food Pantry.
âFamilies are in such an economic crisis this year. I wanted to find a way to give back and help out the best way that I could,â said Hayley Falk, Cheshire High School student and creator of Because of the Brave, an organization committed to honoring veterans. âThere was obviously an increased demand this
