Oheed Review News Today

Post Credits Scene: At a time when most mainstream Bollywood movies feel like neatly packaged products, Anubhav Sinha's Bheed has a point of view.

Rajkummar Rao breaks his silence on the ongoing rumours that he went under the knife for his chin

Anubhav Sinha’s film stars Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar, Pankaj Kapur, Ashutosh Rana, Aditya Srivastava and Dia Mirza.

Rajkummar Raos Bheed is more than just a film portraying the chaos of the COVID 19 lockdown.

Anubhav Sinha’s account of migrant workers’ en masse return to their villages at the start of the pandemic is a basket of courage and convolutions in the writing of social divisions in the midst of a tragedy.

Besides Rajkummar and Bhumi, the film has a powerful ensemble cast including veteran actor Pankaj Kapur, Ashutosh Rana, Dia Mirza, Virendra Saxena, and Kritika Kamra.

Bheed, directed by Anubhav Sinha, is a hard-hitting and difficult-to-watch chronicle of the migrants woes during the first lockdown.

Bheed movie review: It is clear why it was tempting to use the analogy of the Partition, which Anubhav Sinha had to excise from the film. With the context missing, this well-intentioned film becomes less than its powerful moving parts.

It says a lot that the cult band packed a venue known primarily for country music.
