This West Asheville tienda is a hidden gem. You ll find it in the Patton Avenue strip mall that s also home to the Euromarket European specialty store. When you enter Los Nenes, you ll find Latin-American treats from specialty cakes to cane sugar sodas. Behind a small counter, you ll also find a rotating cast of house-made meats. Your best bets are the tender, fatty carnitas, but you ll only find them on weekends, so plan accordingly. The chorizo here is also delicious. 1341 Parkwood Road, Suite 110, Asheville.
