After an agonizing wait of over six months, the distraught family of Mehboob Khan had a sense of closure when it received his remains following intervention of city police chief Ravinder Singal. Mehboob Khan, 47, a truck driver by profession, was murdered in August 2023. The Gittikhadan police on Thursday handed over the remains to the family in three sealed jars with labels after DNA profiling confirmation.
