Kelly Bye, of Elizabeth Way, Siddington, Cirencester, suffered a fatal gastro-intestinal haemorrage caused by her excessive use of the over the counter ibuprofen product, the Gloucester inquest was told. Assistant Gloucestershire Coroner Roland Wooderson recorded a conclusion that she died a drug related death. The inquest heard that Ms Bye died on July 27 this year at home after her partner Adrian Smith found her unwell in the bathroom. Detective Sergeant Jonathan Williams stated Her partner woke at 7am that day and she was in the bathroom complaining of difficulty breathing. He tried to assist her with her asthma inhaler but with no effect. He went to call an ambulance and heard her collapse as he was making the call.
