The Delaware County Cattlemen served carloads of residents at their annual Beef Banquet Saturday night.
The Beef Banquet was held drive-through style this year due to COVID, with steak dinners offered to-go at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Manchester.
The Cattlemen say they served just over 1,000 steak dinners in three and a half hours. Around sixty people helped make this event a success by directing traffic, taking tickets, grilling steaks, preparing food, filling to-go containers and handing out food.
And new beef royalty was crowned before the banquet with a limited number of spectators on hand. Lexi Krogmann of Dundee was crowned the 2021 Delaware County Beef Queen, while Olivia Hilby was crowned Delaware County Beef Princess.
