Annual blood drive to remember Oliviah Hall-Brown to be held Friday

Updated: 2:46 PM EST January 18, 2021 ASHTABULA, Ohio The American Red Cross is inviting the community to give blood on Friday January 22, 2021 in memory of Oliviah Brown-Hall. At eight-years-old, Oliviah was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme grade 4 (GBM), which is an aggressive form of brain cancer. This type of brain cancer has a very poor survival rate. As Oliviah fought cancer, she was always focused on helping others.  Oliviah passed away 16 months after her diagnosis, on December 29, 2018. Since her death, the Red Cross has held a blood drive in her memory and has collected 120 pints of blood and continues Oliviah s legacy of helping others and making the world a better place to live.
