With the situation looking dire, Hendrix s friend Jay Rebecchi (Dhruv Malge) suggests he should steal the expensive necklace that Pierce bought for Dipi last year.
Benny continued: Hendrix feels a little bit guilty, but he doesn t have any emotional connection to this necklace. He makes a snap decision to take it and give it away to pay the debt. As far as he s concerned, it s all for the cash and it s fine.
The actor also praised the strong friendship that continues to develop between Hendrix and Jay as the high-stakes situation plays out.
Asked whether he d like Jay to become a regular character, Benny replied: I do really enjoy the relationship between Hendrix and Jay. It s quite nice how they look out for each other, so down the track I d enjoy playing that relationship again for sure.

Hendrix (Benny Turland) has already got an ongoing feud with Ollie and is frustrated with Jay s actions when he calls him to help clean up Harold s. The pair quickly realise that they cannot clean the mess due to the excessive damage – so they plan to stage a break-in instead to protect Jay.
