After five public input sessions, rulemaking hearing, over 130 written comments, Colorado Privacy Act rules were officially finalized when Colorado Attorney General’s Office completed review, submitted to Secretary of State. Final rules will be published later this month.
Amendments to California Consumer Privacy Act CCPA went into effect January 1 2023, as did Virginia’s new privacy law. Virginia’s law is immediately enforceable. California amendments are not enforceable until July 1, 2023.
