These include athletes competing in equestrian sports, sailing, road cycling, men’s football, boxing and canoeing.
Australian Olympic Committee Vice President Ian Chesterman said the athletes were given a warm welcome and the place was “buzzing” with excitement.
“An enormous amount of work has gone into creating a space for our athletes that is welcoming and friendly as well as meeting those practical needs to promote their best performance,” he said.
