At least six persons died in a fire at a plastic factory in old Dhaka's Chawkbazar area that originated this noon. Fire officials recovered five bodies so far. They are working to recover another body from the four-storey building.

Fire in Old Dhaka: A fire broke out at a polythene factory in Old Dhaka's Chawk Bazar area this noon. The fire originated around 12pm at the factory at Kamalbagh area. Ten firefighting units are trying to douse it, said Khaleda Yeasmin, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters.
