The inaugural meeting of the Saudi-Omani Coordination Council was held in Muscat on Monday. The meeting was co-chaired by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah and his Omani counterpart Badr Albusaidi. Heads of subcommittees affiliated with the council and the heads of the General Secretariats of the Saudi-Omani Coordination Council also took part in the meeting.

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held on Monday a meeting with his Omani counterpart Sayyid Badr Albusaidi in Muscat. They discussed cooperation, the situation in Gaza and other related developments, including the need for an immediate ceasefire and to protect civilians. The officials discussed bilateral and multilateral coordination mechanisms needed to implement the decisions taken by the Joint Arab Islamic Extraordinary Summit held in Riyadh on November 11.
