Time and time again, I've preached how important it is to manage the clock properly at the end of the first half. All too often, games are decided by that last possession before the interval, and we saw that on Saturday night when the LA KISS beat the Jacksonville Sharks 64-39 in a game which was nowhere near as lopsided as that final score suggests.

Apparently, someone forgot to tell us all that Week 9 was opposite week. After a week in which everything seemed to go against the grain, Week 10 featured restored order across the Arena Football League, as the world returned to its axis, and the teams which we've thought to be the best in the league all year long have gone back to playing like it.

The league-wide bye week in Week 14 for the Fourth of July gave all eight teams one last shot to reassess the situation they're in heading down the stretch of the season. For my money, little has changed across the league for a lot of the year, but with three teams still chasing down that last playoff spot and three teams still in sight of what could be a pivotal advantage as the No. 1 seed, there's a lot more drama down the stretch of the year than most of us probably envisioned in th...

Welcome to the ArenaBowl before the ArenaBowl. Sure, it isn't a foregone conclusion at this point that the Predators and Rattlers will meet each other in the title game this year, but at least if the first five weeks are any indication, there's a good chance that's how this is going to play out. The hallowed doors of the Arena Football League Hall of Fame have opened their doors once again for the 2014 class. Four new members have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. Andre Bowden, Damian Harrell, Kyle Moore-Brown, and Omarr Smith are the four newest members of AFL immortality.

If you have been an LA KISS fan since the beginning, let alone a die hard arena football fan, teams would look at their schedule and sense that a win against the KISS would be almost a guarantee.

Some teams still feel like they're still trying to find their identities, while others are in midseason form and ready for the playoff push. It is always an unfortunate situation when any professional team has to relocate. For many reasons, inclement weather or other dire constraints puts a lot of pressure on the host team to have a game. This holds the most crucial in football because of such a short schedule.

Arizona Rattlers fans, turn your heads. You'll always hold the mark as the most impressive dynasty since the return of the AFL in 2010, and you'll always have a gripe that Reggie Gray's ball never reached the goal line before it came out. But this day belongs to the San Jose SaberCats.

First it was Rayshaun Kizer. Then it was Nathan Stanley. In back to back weeks these two prime position players were off the roster on bad injuries. The KISS have though looked more than just pedestrian with trying to put together the pieces with a tough battle against Arizona last week.
