Last Thursday, about a dozen students at Tampa’s University of South Florida continued to voice support for a movement that, in part, asks the school to divest from all companies and defense contractors, which activists say support the Israeli government's indiscriminate bombardments.

The streets of the Delmar Loop closed to motorists on Saturday to allow St. Louisans to do what they do every day: Get stoned. The sweet smell of cannabis sifted through the air as hundreds of people lit up their blunts for the Loop 420 Street Festival. Delmar Boulevard between Kingsland Avenue and Skinker Boulevard was lined with local vendors dishing out cannabis-infused products, pre-rolled joints and art.
