Members of the Bosque River Chapter of The Children of the Republic of Texas recently gathered for a picture in front of the Alamo in San Antonio as a grand kick off to the 2021-22 year.
In addition, a second meeting was held at Barnard s Mill in Glen Rose to tour the mill and view the One Man Two Worlds exhibit about Quanah Parker. They also enjoyed the presentation by Liz McDonald, dressed in a buckskin dress, told Indian folktales and recounted the life of Cynthia Ann Parker.
