Rookies took centre stage on Saturday (Oct. 29) at Century Downs with fillies fighting in divisions of the Emerald Filly Pace and colts competing in Rocky Mountain Boys divisions.
After taking the $13,500 Fillies & Mares Preferred Pace last week at Century Downs, Stash The Cookies went back for a second helping on Friday (Oct. 7).
It was a last-to-first sweep for Betcha Baby in Friday’s feature race – the $13,500 Fillies & Mares Preferred Pace – at Century Downs, and for those that backed her they were handsomely rewarded.
Century Downs hosted three eliminations for the Marquis, a race for three-year-old pacing fillies, and three eliminations for the Maverick, a race for three-year-old pacing colts and geldings, on its 12-race card Saturday afternoon (Sept. 10).
