Songwriter Jimmy Webb to salute singer Glen Campbell in Connecticut performance
As the accolades poured in for Campbell and Webb for ‘Phoenix,’ the songwriter soon proved to be no one-hit-wonder by penning more songs for Campbell and other artists, including Richard Harris’s “MacArthur Park,” and the 5th Dimension’s “Up, Up and Away” which won multiple Grammy Awards in 1968 including Song of the Year for Webb and Record of the Year for the performers.
