Ooni’s Director of Media and Public Affairs, Comrade Moses Olafare on Thursday said Ooni Ogunwusi was unperturbed with the abuses of words rained on him by the Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho.
Olafare who stated this while answering questions from newsmen in Ile-Ife on the recent misconducts of the Yoruba activist who spoke derogatorily about the monarch personality said “Sunday Igboho still remained a son to the Ooni and he had forgiven him when he tendered an apology via a video clip he produced on social media Wednesday evening.
The royal father according to Olafare could not bicker with one of his sons even in the face of quantum of provocations.
“I have said it before and I will keep saying it.
“We all have a feel of their anger during the #EndSARS protests; we must begin to engage them productively,” he said.
The Ooni said the decision was to assist the youths given the current economic reality of the country.
He lamented that the conditions of some of the students in tertiary institution in the country was worrisome.
He said he targets at least N50,000 for about five million students for a period of four years, explaining that the payment of tuition for five million students would gulp N500billion yearly.
