Artistic Cut was a pocket rocket winner on Friday at Northville Downs in the featured $10,800 Mares Open Pace with driver Jason Merriman in tow.

One of the co-featured events on the Tuesday night (June 13) harness racing program at Running Aces was the $18,500 Open Pace for horses and geldings, which drew a very deeply talented field of eight rivals.

The co-featured $20,000 Open Trot has been a race not to miss as of late at MGM Northfield Park, and on Sunday (May 28), that was no different as Flemsteen made things look easy, closing from off-the-pace to win by a nose.

The six-year-old daughter of Sportswriter, Coqui Coqui (named after a species of a Puerto Rican frog), leapt from the pocket in the lane to get up for the victory in the co-featured $10,800 Mares Open Pace on Friday, May 26 at Northville Downs.

Skyway Rockatop and driver David Lake used the ole ‘give and go’ maneuver successfully to win the featured $10,800 Mares Open Pace on Friday night at Northville Downs.

Eye Ofa Tiger As has been a staple among the Open Trotters at MGM Northfield Park; on Sunday (May 7), he continued to show his foes, who was boss with a jaw-dropping track and world record, 1:52 victory in the $20,000 event.

Nuttin But Finesse won Saturday’s (May 6) $17,000 Saratoga Open Pace at Saratoga Race Course. 

Six-year-old Eyes Dont Lie and owner/trainer/driver Winter Asher-Stalbaum took the Northville Downs’ co-featured $10,800 Mares Open Pace while seven-year-old Travlin Swan and trainer/driver Art McIlmurray captured the $10,800 Open Trot on Friday night (May 5).

Silver Label will look to graduate at the head of her class this Saturday night at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
