Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST)-ISAT 2022 for Admission to Undergraduate Courses at Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST)

Retired principals, vice principals who served in government schools will now be recruited as the in charge of National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) study centres. 

The principals and vice principals who have retired from schools run by Delhi government, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalas and schools run by New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), will be eligible for the contractual appointment. 

Agneepath Yojana: Many young people have protested against the Central Governments scheme. Opposition parties came out in their support. But the Agniveer has been given the assurance of employment by the Centre as well as various state governments and corporates after retirement under the scheme.

Necessary financial assistance will be provided to the Agniveers from public sector banks, insurance companies and financial institutions.

Ministry of Higher Education has already said that they would develop customised courses for Class 10 pass Agniveers to get Class 12 certificates.

The Central Government has announced several beneficial and supporting measures

In the backdrop of protests against the newly launched Agnipath Scheme for military recruitments, the Centre has announced several beneficial measures to ensure support to Agniveers, said government sources.

Several Union ministries have offered jobs and learning opportunities to Agniveers amid spiralling violent protests over the Agnipath scheme.

Several new concessions have been announced by the government to pacify protesters upset with the new Agniveer military recruitment scheme who have unleashed massive violence across the country.
