Louisville voters were largely in favor of renewing the Open Space and Parks Sales tax extension and increase after early results Tuesday. Louisville Ballot Issue 2C was passing with 65.79% voting in favor as of 7:36 p.m. Tuesday. On Jan. 1, 2024, Ballot Issue 2C will increase the open space and parks sales tax to 0.5%, a 0.125% increase from the current 0.375% sales tax. The 0.375% open space and parks sales tax will be extended for another 10 years. The 0.125% will expire in ten years.
