Tata Motors has made some changes to the Altroz line-up. The carmaker has axed four diesel and one petrol variant.

The Altroz was launched in January 2020, and reached the 100,000-unit production mark in September 2021, making Tata Motors a significant player in the premium hatchback category.

Tata has finally given the Altroz an automatic gearbox, and that too, a dual-clutch automatic with a wet clutch and planetary gears. Interestingly the homegrown brand has chosen to pair its new box with the naturally aspirated petrol motor for the immediate future.
