Hampshire Constabulary has revealed how much it used stop and search between April and June.

Four teenagers have been arrested after another disturbance at a derelict hotel in Sandown - where one of the teens ran at a police officer armed with a wooden pole.

It follows a number of reports of youths inside the abandoned Ocean Hotel and behaving in an anti-social manner.

This is only the second time a Community Protection Notice has been issued against a business or company in the country

Reports of abusive language and attempted damage have led to the measures, say police.

The owners of Sandown's derelict Ocean Hotel have been told they must clean up the site or risk committing a criminal offence.
