He retired from the army reserve in june of 2017 with the rank of colonel with more than 35 years of military service in the active army and army reserve. Colonel reynolds deployed three times commanded the American Forces network in iraq and baghdad director of Media Operations and assistant spokesman for military commissions at guantanamo bay, cuba and was the chief of Media Operations and senior at guantanamo. With that, good morning, everyone, thank you for being here today for our hearing on the department of defenses cyberspace activities. We ask a lot from the department in this space. From securely operating networks and inherently insecure Weapons Systems to assisting small and large systems. More important than anything else is how prepared and capable we are to hold our adversaries at risk. Ive expressed my concerns about the departments pace for modernizing and growing the ships, aircraft and other weapons for a fight with china. If we accept that we need more time, it is my genuine belief that our ability to robustly use information and Cyber Operations should provide us with the opportunity to buy time to maneuver

That evening on the 7th, i went to Mclaren Lodge where there was the park and tree lighting, and then, on the 11th, i had a meeting with raiders that had been brought in, people that had expertise in the field of Fire Investigation and Fire Prevention. They bring colleagues in from throughout the nation to kpum in and score exams, so they had expertise in those areas to score the lieutenants exam for the bureau of fire chiefs and bureau of Fire Investigation. I believe we had 33 people take the h22, bureau of fire presentation exam, and then, 13 participated in the h24 over at the bureau of Fire Investigation exam. And also in the last period, we had the full h20 exam administered. Its the lieutenants exam. There was three parts to it, and my understanding is there was roughly about 250 that that took all three parts of the exam, so were awaiting results in the new year on both of those exams. Weve met with dpw on december 7th to get an update on all the easter projects, so station five, station 16, chief williams will address it. Adf, which is our ambulance deployment facility.
