Pressure is mounting for the Baltimore County Board of Education to make a decision after delaying a vote on the latest iteration of a new school boundary map.

The Baltimore County Board of Education is one step closer to finalizing a redistricting plan that will affect thousands of students.

"Baltimore County students, parents, teachers and community members deserve better," said one state lawmaker after a delayed vote on school redistricting.

Baltimore County Public Schools is mapping out new central and northeast middle school boundaries starting with the 2024-25 school year.
