An 18-year-old man faces several felony charges linked to the robbery of a 11-year-boy who said he ran away from home in fear of the suspect in Gilford, the Indian River Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY A school bus carrying 23 middle school students and a sport utility vehicle crashed around 1 p.m. Tuesday near the Orangewood Park Apartments in Gifford.
A woman and toddler inside the SUV were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, a fire rescue captain said.
Cpt. Steve Graul said all of the students and the bus driver were evaluated and none reported any injuries.
Gifford Middle School Principal Tosha Jones said the school dismissed at 12:45 p.m. on a early release schedule for the last week of school.
The white Ford Escape crashed into the bus just south of 43rd Street on 38th Avenue near Orangewood Park Apartments.
