Of allies are stuck in afghanistan, the administration doesnt know how many there are, i saw earlier on tv the national security advisor came out and said we will have a plan, the secretary of state, we will have a plan to get those people to the airport which means theyre still trying to formulate a plan. how deep into this are we? and were months into the administration. howie: its heart-breaking. so weve all agreed that biden is the commander in chief, this happened on his watch, its on him r...

Dodged some bullets. i said okay, this is the end of my life here. and what should i do if my kids become an orphan. by the time i reached the airport, it was very chaotic. people were just milling around amid the constant roar of planes taking off from the adjacent military air base. but i didnt know where this military base is actually. i was confused where to find the american forces, because i fill out the evacuation form early in the morning, and it said that if you fill out this form, you ...

Official to me a short time ago that really capsulizes all of what they are saying and doing here. it says, this official told me, yes, our competence is being questioned. the only way to fix that is to stabilize the airport and safely withdraw americans and our partners to the best of our ability. so that, of course, is the central question here going forward. we know the president is at camp david this morning receiving his security briefings on the updates at the airport there in kabul. offic...

And everyone remembers the assurances he gave the country back in april. and i think there is nothing wrong with saying, we got that wrong, and i own it. you know, john f. kennedy after the bay of pigs said victory has 1,000 fathers and defeat is an orphan, and i am the responsible officer of government. so he took full responsibility. actually benefitted from that. but clearly, things went wrong. and he kind of glossed over that today. and i think he made a mistake doing that. i think people wo...
