KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI No residents or firefighters were injured, but a trained therapy dog died in a house fire Tuesday night west of Kalamazoo.
A second dog, that was not a therapy dog, was outside when firefighters arrived and survived the blaze unscathed, Oshtemo Fire Chief Mark Barnes told MLive.
The home, and all of its contents, suffered substantial damage, he said.
