General Assembly that he supports a two-state solution -- one state for Israelis, one state for Palestinians -- the president of the Palestinian National Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, said the continual persecution of Palestinians, especially through Israeli settlements, and restrictions on movement and economic development confirm that the "Israeli Government rejects the two-state solution."
