The ADVA joined members of the Emory Healthcare Veterans Program in Atlanta to sign a memorandum of understanding to make available to Alabama Veterans this state-of-the-art program.

The Alabama Department of Veteran Affairs (ADVA) announced that they have teamed up with Emory Healthcare to further help post-9/11 veterans in areas such as post-traumatic stress disorder.

Starting Wednesday, the Intensive Outpatient Program helps adults who are struggling with their mental health but don't need 24-hour inpatient care.

Plus, Texas Health Arlington Memorial adds more mental health programs, and Texas Health Resources opens two new urgent care facilities.

Thanks to a state grant, the Milford Police Department and Community Impact have started a Family Services Unit, which will try to help those in need.
